I am allergic to Milk.
This is not an easy thing to be allergic to. Well there are a lot of products out there that make it a lot easier. One of them in Almond Breeze Almond milk made by Blue Diamond. Is a great way to avoid milk. It provides Calcium and Potassium as well as a number of other Vitamins and Minerals. What it does not contain is any Dairy, Gluten, Cholesterol or Saturated Fat. Unsweetened Almond Milk falls low on the glycemic index making it good for diabetics as well.
I use it in place of milk in many recipes and use it on Cereal and Drink it stright.
One of my favorite things is Almond Chai I make it by pouring 10 to 12 ounces of Vanilla Almond milk into a pot and adding a tea ball full of chai tea. simmering on low heat for 5 to 10 min and serving. It is so good. I also take 6 oz of Sweetened Chocolate Almond Breeze and 6 oz of Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Breeze and mix them. I find the Sweetened way to sweet and the Unsweetened not sweet enough. I have served this to children and they have not known the difference.
